International project “Cosmic Path on Earth through a child’s drawing”
Kharkiv Regional Children’s Library invites you to join the new international project “Cosmic Path on Earth through a child’s drawing”, initiated by the American corporation “Fermata Arts Foundation”
As part of the project, we invite children to think:

  • who we are, what we are worth, what we value most in life on Earth;
  • what we love the most, what we are surprised by, what we enjoy (nature, animals, etc.);
  • what is most valuable to us (love, friendship, mutual support… everything that unites us, with what qualities we become stronger);
  • how we see the world, both internal and external;
  • A world full of wonders is in danger (ecology, wars, terror…) and that it is they, today’s children, who will have to save it tomorrow.

Any children’s thoughts about this can be reflected in painting, graphics, ceramics, etc.

Drawings are accepted in A3 format (420 x 297 mm). They can be done individually or in small teams. Drawing technique: no limits.

Entries are accepted until April 15, 2024.

Works can be sent to the mail of the Kharkiv Regional Library for Children at the address: st. 43 Alchevskikh Ave., Kharkiv-2, 61002. Or take a picture and send it by e-mail: hobd.konkurs.21@gmail.com with a note on the “Earth’s Space Path” project.
The work must indicate: last name, first name, age of the participant, the locality in which he/she lives, the phone number of the author or his/her parents, e-mail address to which it will be possible to send a certificate of participation.
The works of the participants will be sent to the United States, to the address of the Fermata Arts Foundation, where they plan to hold mobile exhibitions by public libraries in New England (in the states: Connecticut, Arkansas, Texas, Massachusetts, Vermont) from May 2023 to January 2026 (two months in one library).
